After spending twenty years in the United Kingdom and the Channel Island of Guernsey, Bryan returned to his birthplace of Durban and completed his practical vocational training at a local firm between 2014 and 2016.
Bryan obtained his LLB at the University of Essex (United Kingdom) in 2010 and Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the now University of Law in 2012.
He was admitted as an attorney in 2016 and subsequently admitted as a conveyancer and notary public in 2018.
Bryan has eight years of experience in the registration of property transfers and bonds in the Deeds Office. He also assists clients with the administration of the estates for their deceased family members, and the drafting of wills and ante-nuptial contracts.
Due to his experience, Bryan possesses a certificate in terms of section 25(3) of the Legal Practice Act 2014 which enables him to appear in the High Court of South Africa, the Supreme Court of Appeal and the Constitutional Court.
Bryan also has knowledge and experience with English and Guernsey law so can assist correspondent lawyers in those jurisdictions who have clients in South Africa (even though he cannot give English and Guernsey legal advice).
